Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all business relationships between PMP-Biosolutions (hereinafter "Provider") and the customer. By using our website and purchasing image licenses, you accept these terms.

2. Description of Services

PMP-Biosolutions provides high-resolution digital photographs of insects and pests available for purchase and download. The use of images is governed by the respective license acquired.

3. License Types

3.1 Standard License (59€ per image)

The Standard License grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use for:

• Personal projects and portfolios
• Social media and websites (up to 500,000 impressions)
• Small business marketing materials
• Editorial use in blogs and articles

3.2 Extended License (299€ per image)

The Extended License includes all Standard License rights plus:

• Unlimited impressions
• Products intended for resale (prints, merchandise)
• Large-scale advertising campaigns
• Use across multiple clients and projects

3.3 Educational License (29€ per image)

The Educational License is available to educational institutions and allows:

• Use in educational materials and textbooks
• Research publications
• Museum and exhibit displays
• Non-commercial use only

4. Prohibited Uses

Regardless of license type, you may NOT:

• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the original image files
• Use images in a defamatory, obscene, or illegal manner
• Use images in a way that infringes on third-party rights
• Claim ownership or copyright of the original images
• Use images in AI/ML training datasets without explicit permission

5. Prices and Payment

All prices are in EUR and include applicable VAT. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You are responsible for any applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.

6. Right of Withdrawal

Due to the digital nature of our products, the right of withdrawal expires upon access to the download. By purchasing, you expressly agree to this. If you experience technical issues preventing download, please contact us within 7 days of purchase.

7. Intellectual Property

All images remain the intellectual property of PMP-Biosolutions and/or the photographers (Dr. Reiner Pospischil). Purchasing a license grants specific usage rights but does not transfer copyright ownership.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Images are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that images will meet your specific requirements or expectations.

9. Limitation of Liability

PMP-Biosolutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or purchased images. Liability is limited to the purchase price of the affected license.

10. Governing Law

German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Cologne, Germany, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
